i love polka dots.. i'm trying to find paper for our invites with polka dots on them but i'm struggling! the place i got our samples from had them discontinued :(

Engaged 07.07.11

So this is my first entry, obviously.
On Thursday the 7th of June, 2011, something came over me and I essentially proposed to by boyfriend “R”, and he said yes! We’ve been together for 3 years, 10 months and had talked about our future together, but we’ve always been stupidly poor so the chances of us saving enough for a ring anytime soon was out of the question.. But who needs a ring? I already threw tradition out the window the minute I asked him.
It’s all a little bit strange at the moment, I still feel like I’m too young to be getting engaged, but 24 really isn’t young at all.. And let’s face it, it’s going to be minimum 2 years before we have any chance of affording a wedding. To be honest, I’m glad it’s going to take so long, I have so much research and planning to do and I have zero idea where to start.
I started this blog as a place to keep all my ideas in the one spot and if people find it interesting and want to read it, that’s just a bonus.

Soooo I really have NO idea at the moment, so for today, there might just be a big jumble of photos that don’t have much relevance at this stage.
